Next Sunday April 17 to 18 hours will be held the opening ceremony of "The Antigal" the Indian Prime Interpretation Centre of the country that is located in Rio Tala, Partido de San Pedro, and gather representatives of indigenous communities, scientists and professionals of the various fields of science and culture.
"The Antigal" is doomed to knowledge production and sharing of the main problems and indigenous resistance. Her godparents are Marián Farías Gómez, Director Provincial Cultural Heritage and Dr. Daniel Loponte, researcher at the National Institute of Anthropology and Latin American Thought (INAPL).
On the other hand, has the recognition of the Department of Folklore, Crafts and Native Communities of the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires.
This achievement is the result of joint work AML organization IACI Qom San Pedro, the INAPL and Historical Archaeology Program and multidisciplinary studies (PROARHEP) National University of Luján (UNLU).
Center facilities are located in the vicinity of Lower Esposito which recently was discovered a vast area with archaeological remains of the first settlers of the territory of Buenos Aires.
The opening of "The Antigal" will enable first excavations and research projects involving indigenous communities are carried out jointly with their descendants, through ongoing consultation and respect for indigenous traditions.
